NB Version 5 maintains the registration at the machine level not the user level which should avert the problem below.

Problem:

I am having trouble Networking Version 4 on Windows/Mac, every user has to enter the registration code. Is there a simpler way?
 
Solution: Putting the cwwprefs.txt file which is created when you register into the users profile works and saves every user having to register.For example with XP the path might be

Windows

Server - \\Servername\Profiles\username\Application Data\cwwprefs.txt

OR
Locally - C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\cwwprefs.txt

Macintosh

Username/Library/Preferences/cwwprefs.txt
